Capoeira Gerais is having an Open House next Monday, September 8th, in Boston at Boston Ultimate Fitness (aka Nam Pai Academy) at 7:00 PM. Contra-Mestre Coreba is originally from Brazil and previously taught capoeira in Spain and Switzerland.

Boston Ultimate Fitness is located in Chinatown at 33 Harrison Ave, on the 7th Floor, upstairs from Nick the Tailor (but take the elevator): http://www.yelp.com/biz/boston-ultimate-fitness-boston

If you can't come to the open house but would still like to take a class, you can come any Monday or Wednesday at 7:00. Classes are an hour in length.

Make sure to wear or bring comfortable clothing and sneakers. A TOWEL and WATER strongly recommended, because you are going to sweat! (if you forget the water, there are vending machines and a water fountain at the gym)

(the boss man says to call him for pricing. he said last night that there are student and referral discounts, but I don't have numbers! so sorry!)

incontango, please add your standard testimonial below :)

I wonder what city on earth would have enough capybara owners to have a capybara class.

You didn't ask, but here's my testimonial. :-P

I find the class to be kind of difficult, but I enjoy it a lot. Coreba is a very good teacher and he gives a lot of attention to each student. I've had several operations on my knee so some of the moves are a little difficult for me and he was willing to work with me to show me how to modify them to make it a little easier on my knee. I also really like Boston Ultimate Fitness. They let us bring the kids to hang out while we work out and don't charge extra. :)

Didn't he say there's going to be a 6:00 p.m. class too?
