Last night, I ran into Jordan Knight. I am very proud and pleased with myself for not doing any of the following:

1. Scream OMG it's Jordan Knight!
2. Slide him my business card and ask him to have Donnie call me.
3. Break out into a rendition of "The Right Stuff"
4. Say, "I'll see you on the 26th of September!"

It's the small victories in life that keep us going.

And yes, I know you're going to be snarky.

I was first going to say that this belongs on [info]b0s_sightings but then I realized that it was a late '80's reference... I lived through that, but still completely missed it. (and no, it's not JUST because I'm male. I somehow missed many other things about the 80's as well)

Man, I am not sure if I would have had the restraint, at least to not stare and follow him a little. Of course, I also lusted after Donnie so it would have been a marvel of self-restraint to not pass my info for the purpose of a Donnie connection.

I was, too. I rode an elevator with him in Faneuil Hall on my 24th birthday. My friends and I failed at holding in the squeeeing. He seemed amused. His date did not.

One time, about 11 or 12 years ago, my friends and I were at Uno's in Braintree. Our waitress told us he was sitting in the other room so my friend and I went to the bathroom so we could walk by and get a better look at him. While in the bathroom we started gushing about how cute he was in person, blah blah blah. There was a very pregnant woman in there washing her hands and she looked at us and kind of smirked. When we walked back to our table we saw her sitting with him, lol.

And one time Donnie almost hit me with his car. :(

My cousin used to write for the entertainment section of a newspaper, and interviewed Jordan when his solo album came out, or he was on tour, or whatever non-NKOTB stuff he had to promote... Anyway, when he said he lived in Somerville, she said she got all excited and said, "MY COUSIN LIVES THERE!" and he did not care.

But ever since then, I have kept an eye out for him. Can't believe you beat me to it.

I had the same thing, well almost, happen to me recently, not with Jordan Knight though, who I wouldn't recognize if he were in front of me, but anyway I restrained myself just like you did AND I did not tell anyone or post about it, except for right now, and a follow-up comment on b0st0n doesn't really count. So I'm one up on ya sistah.

I took fifty bucks off Jordan Knight playing pool at Boston Billiards. I didn't know who he was. Sadly, he wouldn't play me anymore after that.
